Our mission is to co-create solutions that build leadership capabilities, drive business performance and foster inclusive cultures.
Our history
Born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Montreal, Canada, Karen Diaz grew up with ambition and drive. She pursued a Master’s degree in Education, landed a dream job as a university lecturer and created the family she always imagined.
Despite seemingly having it all, in 1997, Karen found herself struggling to balance work and family life. When the demands of her job increased exponentially, she decided to carve her own path by founding her own company, CKG Training & Consulting to acknowledge her accomplishments and honour her two boys, Colin and Grant.
The company was built on Karen’s experience raising two black boys with the perspective of a promising future, and equality for women and all marginalized communities. Twenty-four years later, CKG Training & Consulting has evolved into a go-to service for forward-thinking organizations who seek to create psychologically safe cultures where differences are celebrated and systemic barriers are addressed.
